Older Driver Feasibility Study – ESSB 5883

Summary

The purpose of this feasibility study is in part intended to complete the directive from the legislature to the Department of Licensing (DOL) in 2023-2025 House Bill (HB) 1125 Section 208, to develop a comprehensive plan aimed at improving older driver safety.  The study includes four (4) components, as detailed in HB 1125. The department must submit a report on the comprehensive plan to the governor and the transportation committees of the legislature by December 1, 2024.
