The Law Enforcement Mountain Operations School (LEMOS) provides law enforcement officers with the basic knowledge and skills to safely perform routine operations in wilderness settings by focusing on preventing mishaps, maintaining a state of heightened awareness, and promoting a professional attitude in themselves and others while overcoming environmental and tactical challenges.
WSU Extension Disaster Capacity Program (EDCP) is a collaborative network designed to provide an integrated variety of resources to support disaster preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery for Extension personnel across Washington State. WSU–EDCP provides Extension educators with information and links to resources on all phases of disaster from an all-hazards perspective.
The Washington State Institute for Criminal Justice (WSICJ) provides research assistance and expertise to improve the policies and practices of the state and national criminal justice system. The scope of the Institute is comprised of two divisions (Policing & Security and Corrections & Sentencing) which encompasses the wide array of research knowledge and expertise among its directors, faculty, staff, and affiliated members and partners.
